Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds at Pictou

This is the last will and Testament of Marian C Cavnugh of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou Single woman being of sound and disposing mind, do hereby make and execute my last, at the same time revoking all former Wills at any time by me heretofore made.

1. I hereby appoint my brother J Howard Cavnugh and my sister Chritain Jane wife of John R Cavnugh the executor and executrix of this my will

2.  I give, devise and bequeath all my real estate situate on McKay Street in the Town of New Glasgow to my brother J Howard Cavnugh his heirs ad assigns forever.

3. I give, devise and bequeath all the furniture and moveables in and about my house on said McKay Street to my sister Chritain Jane Cavnugh aforesaid and my sister in law Jean Cavnugh wife of J Howard Cavnugh to be disposed of and they may deem fit

4. All the residue of my estate of every kind consisting chiefly of money I devise and bequeath to the following persons in the following proportions namely to my sister Margaret Sophia McKay wife of Daniel McKay of Trove dale oregon one third thereof to my niece Janet Elizabeth McKay daughter of said Janet McKay two ninths thereof to my Graham Leadbetter two ninths thereof and to my nieces Margaret Isabella Cavnugh and Chritain Murdock Cavnugh daughters of J Howard Canvugh one ninth each thereof

In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal this first day of November A D 1902

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Marian C Cavnugh late of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou Single Woman deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court on the 27 day of November 1902.
