Description Deposition

Personally appeared before me the subscribing majestrate in care of for the District of Pictou Roderick M'Grae who deponeth and --- on oath - That In this deponent was during last night beaten cut and abused by Donald M'Gillivray M'Euan bain of Baileys Brook (and that in the house of this Deponent & wife) and therefore prayeth for a security of the Peace against said Donald as well for his good behavior as far as his appearance at the next General Session of the Peace and further that In this -- if  afraid of his --- from the said Donald.
