Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds at Pictou

I James W Carmichael of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou Merchant do hereby make and publish my last Will at the same time revoking all former wills by me heretofore made.

I give, devise and bequeath all my property - both real and personal after the payment of my just debts and the expenses attendance upon the settlement of my estate to my daughters Caroline and Anna share and share alike

I do appoint- my said daughter Caroline Carmichael my son in law John H Guidain and my nephew James C McGregor the executrix and executor of my estate It is my will that my said executors and each of them shall respectively be chargeable only for such worries as they respectively shall actually receive and shall not be answerable for each other and for any bank broker or other person or corporation into whose hands any of the funds of my estate shall be placed and for involuntary losses.

In witness whereof I the said James W Carmichael have to this my last will and testament set my hand and Seal this 31st day of March A D 1902

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last will and Testament of James W Carmichael late of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou Merchant deceased, which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court on the 19th day of July AD 1903.
