Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou

The last Will and of Malcolm Patterson of Pictou Island in the County of Pictou, Farmer.

I give and devise all my real and personal property to my wife Mary for her life. At her death I give and devise the Eastern half of my farm on Pictou Island aforesaid to my son Charles Dan Patterson, the western half of said farm to my son Lauchlin Patterson, and all my personal property to my sons to be divided equally between them. of

I appoint Charles McCallum and Hector McDonald executors of this Will. (both of Pictou Island)

I revoke all former wills by me at any time made.

Witness where my hand this thirteenth day of December AD 1898.

The foregoing last Will and Testament was read over and explained to the Testator Malcolm Patterson in our presence and he seemed perfectly to understand the same, and the same was Signed and published by him by directing his name to be signed thereto in his presence and in our presence and he made his mark thereto in our presence and we at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
