Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou
Middle River March 30 Anno Domini 1894
In the name of God, Amen.
I David Sylvester of the Middle River in the County of Pictou being sound in mind and body do make my last Will and Testament. I bequeath my Soul to God and my body to the earth.
To my beloved wife Susan I bequeath my house and garden containing two acres of land together with all my furniture thereon, the feed and pasture of two cows and four sheep during the remainder of her natural life.
To my son Walter I bequeath four hundred dollars.
To my daughter Nancy McDonald I bequeath fifty dollars.
To my daughter Sarah Haliday I bequeath twenty dollars.
To my daughter Christy I bequeath the privilege of my house while she remains unmarried.
To my son Alexander I bequeath all my real estate and personal property subject to the above dispositions.
I bequeath to Alex and Christy (before mentioned) the remainder of my money after all my just debts are paid and to be divided equally between them.

I John D. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of David Sylvester late of Middle River in the County of Pictou deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 14th. day of January 1903.
