Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou

I Jessie Sutherland of Fraser's Mountain in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia, Widow being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament.

I give devise and bequeath all my estate and property real and personal as follows, That is to say

First - It is my will that my executor George E. McDonald shall from the monies owned by me at the time of my decease provide for and pay all the necessary charges and expenses to give my remains a decent and proper burial.

Secondly - I give devise and bequeath William J. Mawffts of said Fraser's Mountain and his heirs and assigns all that certain lot of land on said Fraser's Mountain bounded westerly by lands of Alexander McGregor et al northerly by lands formerly owned by Archibald McKay and now owned by Margaret McKay and lands of others Easterly by lands of said Margaret McKay and Southerly by lands of said Alexander McGregor et al being and intended to be all the farm lot and pat and parcel thereof on which I reside own and seized and possessed of at said Fraser's Mountain together with all and singular the houses buildings ,ways, water courses rights easements privileges and appurtenances of the same belonging or in any wise appertaining To Have and To Hold the same to the said William J, Mawffts and his heirs and assigns forever.

I also give devise and bequeath to the said William J. Mawffts and his heirs all the farm stock and farming implements which I may own now or be possessed of at the time of me decease.

Thirdly - I give devise and bequeath to my niece Jessie McLean and her heirs and assigns all the residue of my estate including all monies whether on deposit or otherwise of which I may die seized and possessed of at the time of my decease To Have and To Hold the same to the said Jessie McLean and her heirs and assigns forever.

I appoint my friend George E. McDonald of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia Commercial Traveller Executor of this my last Will and Testament.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this twenty second day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and four.

The said Jessie Sutherland on the twenty second day of February AD 1904 at said Fraser's Mountain Signed and Sealed this instrument and published and declared the same as and for her last Will and Testament and we at her request and in her presence and in the presence of each other have written our names as subscribing witnesses thereto.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Jessie Sutherland late of Fraser's Mountain n the County of Pictou Widow deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 26^th. day of April AD 1904.
