Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou
This is the last Will and Testament of George Sutherland of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou.
First. I leave and bequeath the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars for the purpose of providing a entiable Monument to be erected in the place of the one now in the Lat at Riverside Cemetery in which not I wish to be interred on my Dearth.
Second. I give, and bequeath to each of my neices Margaret McIntosh and Grace McIntosh daughters of Dan McIntosh, Westville the sum of Two hundred Dollars each.
Third. I give and bequeath to my neice Maud Sutherland, daughters of Murdock Sutherland Westville the sum of Two hundred and Fifty Dollars.
Fourth. I give and bequeath to my sister-in-law Isabella Sutherland widow of my brother Neil Sutherland the sum of Five hundred Dollars.
Fifth. I give and bequeath to my Brother Murdock Sutherland M.D., Westville the sum of Five hundred Dollars.
Sixth. I give and bequeath to my Housekeeper Mrs. Christena Henderson, if she remains in my employ as long as I require her, the sum of Two hundred Dollars.
Seventh. I give and bequeath to my nephew George Brenton Sutherland now of Boston, U.S., the sum of Five hundred Dollars.
Eighth. I give and bequeath to my neice Jean Sutherland daughter of my Brother Hector T. the sum of Two hundred Dollars.
Ninth. I give and bequeath to my neice Florence Thompson Daughter of A.C. Thompson of North Sydney Two hundred Dollars.
Tenth. I give and bequeath to my brother Hector T. Sutherland the sum of Five hundred Dollars.
Eleventh. All the residue of my property of whatever kind, if any, I give and bequeath to my nephew Colin Sutherland, New Glasgow.
I appoint my Brother Hector T. Sutherland, Executors of this my last Will and desire him to convert the same into money, at the earliest and most favorable opportunity, and pay the above bequests.
In Witness Whereof at New Glasgow Nova Scotia, this twenty-first day of May 1910, I have signed this my last Will.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of George Sutherland late of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou Pullman deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 22nd. day of August AD 1910.
