Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou

In the name of God, Amen.

I Donald Sutherland of Trenton in the County of Pictou, do call to mind the uncertainty of this life do hereby make this my Last Will and Testament of all worldly effects personal and real of which I now possess..

And first of all after my legal debts are paid I give and bequeath to my beloved wife all that lot on which I now live being on the corner of Chestnut and Spruce Street with house and all the buildings thereon. Yet be it always remembered that my two daughters Lexie Euphemia and Christina Fraser still have a home in the house while they remain a single life, and be it also reminded that my son Archibald now living with me shall soon after my decease receive one Dollar in Cash, also my daughter Mary Campbell shall get one Dollar in Cash also my son Robert shall get one Dollar in cash.

And I hereby appoint I nominate institute and ordain Mr. Richard Wadden and Mr. Daniel McKeigan as my executors and Executrix of this my last Will and Testament, hereby disallow revoke and disannul all former wills and Testaments confessing this and no others to be my last will and Testament.

Written this the twenty seventh day of March AD 1899.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Donald Sutherland late of Trenton in the County of Pictou deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the seventh day of April AD 1904.
