Estate of William Sullivan late of New Glasgow, Ship Builder, deceased, Testate
Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
I, William Sullivan of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou, Ship Carpenter, do hereby make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament. My first will is that all my just and honest debts and funeral expenses be paid by my Executors hereinafter named, and the remainder and residue of my real and personal Estate and property not so required I give devise and dispose of as follows.
First. I give devise and bequeath to Martha Clarke Sullivan wife of Gordon Sullivan the house and lot now occupied by her, and family, on the Southeast corner of the lot now owned and occupied by me, on Blair and Albion Streets, in the town of New Glasgow, and on the west side of the East River, and described as follows, The west line of said lot to be two feet from said house, and the north line to be one foot and a half from north end of said house, and to run Easterly to Betts line, and said lot bounded on the South by said Blair Street, after her death to go to her son Roderick.
Second, I give devise and bequeath to my wife Charlotte Sullivan, al the balance of my real and personal Estate, as follows, viz. all the remainder of the lot ow occupied and owned by me, with house and Barns, on corner of said Blair and Albion Streets, together with all the household furniture of every description whatsoever, to her Sole use and benefit forever. Also the lot of land situate on the west side of said river and in late William Fraser oggs field, and bought from him. I also do order that all my tools and utensils of every kind whatsoever as well as my horse, Carts, waggons and harness, and all the residue of my personal estate to be sold by my executors and the proceeds to be give to my said wife, after expenses are paid.
I also do nominate and appoint William H. Sullivan and Frederick Armstrong to be the executors of this my last Will and testament.(and both residents of New Glasgow and County of Pictou).

have hereto Set my hand and Seal this twenty sixth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety seven.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one and a quarter pages, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of William Sullivan late of New Glasgow, in the County of Pictou, Ship Carpenter, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand at Pictou this 1st.day of July A.D. 1897.
