Will of Thomas Stewart, deceased
Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou
The last Will and Testament of Thomas Stewart of Stellarton in the County of Pictou. I the said Thomas Stewart being infirm in body but of sound disposing mine and memory do make and publish this my last Will and Testament.
First - I devise my body decently interred, my Spirit I consign to the God who gave it.
Second I desire that my funeral expenses and also all my lawful debts be paid out of my estate.
Third I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife Jane Wilkinson Stewart all personal property consisting of Bank Stock, Deposits in Bank of Nova Scotia ,Stellarton Loan Association, Dominion Savings Bank also in the Union Store also the real Estate now occupied as a homestead with all the furniture appurtenances in the dwelling as it now stands, in which of said property without any reason I devise and bequeath unto my said wife to have and to hold the same to her own right now to be disposed of at her death as she deems proper.
I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved son James Stewart the lot of land and premises occupied by him as a Livery Stable and being the lot of land occupied by Deed from a Deed named to me.
I also appoint my son James Stewart and my beloved wife Jane W. Stewart Executors and executrix of this my last Will and Testament about which has been Signed, Sealed and declared this 3rd. day of April 1902 in the presence of the undersigned who in my presence and in the presence of each other and at my request witnessed the same.

I John D. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Thomas Stewart late of Stellarton in the County of Pictou deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 21st. day of November AD 1904.
Witness my hand at Pictou this 21st. day of November AD 1904.
