Estate of Angus Stewart late of Piedmont, Farmer, deceased, Testate
Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
I, Angus Stewart of Piedmont in the County of Pictou Province of Nova Scotia and Dominion of Canada make this my last Will and Testament.
First, I recommend my Soul to Almighty God who gave it, and my body to the dust.
Secondly, I leave and bequeath the third part of all my Real and Personal estate and Property that is to say the one third of my land and the one third of my personal property viz.- Houses, Buildings, Horses, Cattle, Sheep, and all other moveable effects to my beloved wife during her lifetime after her death to become the property of my three daughters namely Margaret Stewart, Catherine Stewart, and Ellen Stewart jointly.
Thirdly, I leave and bequeath a certain piece or parcel or Lot of land, a part of the east side of my land abutted and Bounded as follows, viz.- Beginning, Fifty rods South of the Piedmont Road on the west side line of my son James Stewart's land. Thence running westwardly until it comes to a rock fixed for a corner, at a small Brook or stream, Thence Southwardly in a parallel line with the division side lines, until it comes to the rear line of the late 82nd. Grant, Thence running along eastwardly along said rear line until it comes James Stewart's west side line, until it comes to the place of beginning to my son James Stewart.
Fourthly, I leave and bequeath nineteen acres of my land on the west side extending from front to rear, to my son John Stewart.
Fifthly, I leave and bequeath all the remaining [art of my Real Estate and personal property that is to say the remaining part of my lands and the remaining part of my personal property viz.- Houses, Buildings, Horses, and Cattle, Sheep, and all moveable effects to my Daughter Margaret Stewart, and to my Daughter Catherine Stewart, and my Daughter Ellen Stewart jointly.
Sixthly, I leave and bequeath one Dollar cash, to my daughter Janet Stewart now a Mrs. Fraser, to be given her by my son John Stewart on claiming the same.
In witness whereof I have hereby set my hand this tenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight Hundred and eighty three.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one & a quarter pages, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Angus Stewart late of Piedmont, in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand at Pictou this 8th. day of August A.D. 1885.
