Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou
THIS is the last Will and Testament Mathew Gillis Sproull of Pictou Landing in the County of Pictou, Farmer.
First: - I give devise and bequeath to my wife, Jessie Sproull One Thousand dollars.
Second: - I give and devise to my daughter, Isabel J. Murray, wife of Reverend Robert Murray, Four hundred dollars.
Third: - I give and devise to my granddaughter, Jessie Florence Murray, one hundred dollars.
Fourth: - I give and devise to my sister, Isabel Sproull, One hundred dollars.
Fifth: - I give and devise to my grandson, James Foster Sproull One hundred dollars.
Sixth: - if after the payment of the above devices there remain any money belonging to me in any Bank, I direct that such money be divided equally between my daughter Isabel J. and my son Charles Sproull.
Seventh: - All the remainder of my real and personal property whatsoever and wheresoever, except what is hereinafter reserved to my wife, I give and devise to my son Charles Sproull. I reserve of the homestead property two rooms in the dwelling house for the sole use of my said wife, Jessie Sproull for her lifetime, and I give to my said wife, one cow and all the fowls. And I direct and require that she be provided for by my son Charles Sproull in a manner suited to her rank and station in life, and I hereby charge the maintenance of my said wife upon the real estate hereby devised to my son Charles Sproull.
I nominate and appoint my son, Charles Sproull and my son-in-law, Reverend Robert Murray of Earltown, to be executors of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and cancelling all previous wills by me at made.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the said Matthew Gillis Sproull has hereunto set my hand and Seal this 24th. day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

IN THE COURT OF PROBATE.
I, John D. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the within or annexed typewritten paper writing is a true and correct copy of the last Will and Testament of Matthew Gillis Sproull late of Pictou Landing in the County of Pictou Farmer deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the Tenth day of December A.D., 1913.
