Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
In the name of God, Amen.
I, Robert Smith of Merigomish, in the County of Pictou, being sound in mind and memory, but apprehensive of death, from bodily injuries received this day, do hereby make and ordain this my last Will and Testament.
I give devise and bequeath may farm - the homestead - in Merigomish to my two sisters, Nancy and Elizabeth to be divided equally between them subject to any just claims that may be against me, and expenses after my decease.
In presence of us witnesses being together present at the same time.
Onslow, August 24th. 1880

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of part of a page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Robert Smith, late of Merigomish, in the County of Pictou, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
