Estate of David Simpson late of French River, Farmer, deceased, Testate
Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
This is the last Will of David Simpson of French River in the County of Pictou, Farmer.
I the said David Simpson being of sound and disposing mind do make and publish this my last Will as follows,
1st. I give devise and bequeath to my wife Catherine Simpson and her heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns the farm lot on which I reside at French River and bounded as follows, on the East by lands of John Forbes, on the South by lands of the heirs of David Simpson and Alexander Simpson, on the West by the several courses of the river until it comes to the lands of William Simpson, on the North by the lower line of the first divisions of lands, containing one hundred acres more or less with the buildings and improvements thereon To Have and To Hold the same forever.
2nd. I give devise and bequeath to my wife Catherine Simpson and her heirs executors and administrators and assigns all my personal property of whatever nature or description and mortgages, promissory notes, and bank accounts which shall remain after paying all my just debts and funeral expenses and proving this my last Will.
I hereby appoint my said wife Catherine Simpson and John D. Fraser of French River, executrix and executor of this my last Will and Testament.
In witness whereof I the said Daniel Simpson have to this my last Will and Testament subscribe my name and affixed my seal this thirtieth day of April A.D. 1895.

Signed sealed and published and declared by the said David Simpson as in for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us, who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of David Simpson late of French River, in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand at Pictou this 30th..day of October A.D. 1895.
