Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou

I, Alexander Scott of Pictou, in the County of Pictou, and Province of Nova Scotia, Master Mariner, being of sound mind and memory do declare this to be my Last Will and Testament.

I give and devise to my daughter Maria Scott, now residing with me, all my real estate being the dwelling house and lot of ground, where I reside, situated on the East Side of Welsford Street in the said Town of Pictou, and a lot of land on Fisher's Grant in said County of Pictou, with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging, To have and To hold unto her, the said Maria Scott, her heirs and assigns forever

I give and bequeath to my said daughter Maria, all my personal property, and all money and securities for money, which at the time of my decease shall belong to me.

I appoint my said daughter Maria Scott, my executrix of this  Will and devise.

I further declare that my not making any bequest to my other children is intentional and agreeable to their expressed wishes.

In Witness Whereof, I have signed and sealed and published and declared this instrument as my will at Pictou Nova Scotia this fourth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and six.

At Pictou, this fourth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and six Alexander Scott the party named in the foregoing wil, signed and sealed this instrument and published and declared the same as and for hs last will; and we, in his presence, and at his request, and in the presence of each other, have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Alexander Scott late of Pictou in the County of Pictou Master Mariner deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 10th.  day of April AD 1912.
