Estate of Alexander Thomas Powell late of Boat Harbour, Pilot, deceased, Testate

Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

This the last Will and Testament of me Alexander Thomas Powell, pilot, of Boat Harbour, in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia.

I give devise and bequeath to my wife Janet Powell al the Real Estate, owned by me at Boat Harbour aforesaid, that is to say, the property on which I now reside at Boat Harbour aforesaid, together with all my personal property of whatever kind owned by me at the time of my decease, And after the death of my wife to said Janet Powell to go to Janet Margaret  McDonald wife of Roderick McDonald of Trenton, in the County aforesaid, Provided nevertheless that my wife the said Janet Powell shall have full power to sell the aid Real Estate, and personal property if necessary for her support during her lifetime.

Lastly,  I do nominate and appoint  Roderick McDonald aforesaid of Trent Sole Executor of this my last Will and testament.

In testimony whereof I have hereto Set my hand and Seal at Boat Harbour aforesaid this third day July  in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety six.
