Archibald Hamilton (A H) Fraser and his wife Elizabeth Huggan with their children, James, Elda Jean, Elizabeth (Bessie) and George Alvin (Al) in front of their home located opposite the end of the Pictou/Alma Road. 

A H Fraser operated a store beside the house which also served as the Alma Post Office for a time.

A H was born in 1841 to James Fraser and Harriet Hamilton.

Elizabeth Huggan was born in 1849 to James Huggan and Mary Copeland.

The parents of Archibald Hamilton Fraser were James Fraser and Harriet Hamilton.
