No. 23  Held an inquest at Carriboo Island this 16 sixteenth day of September 1859 on view of the body of William Reed late of Little Harbour — Verdict — That the said William Reed came to his death near Carriboo Island in the County of Pictou aforesaid on the 15th day of September instant by the accidental upsetting of a boat in the strait of Northumberland near said Carriboo Island by which the said William Reed was drowned died suffocated in the waters of the said straits of Northumberland
