Estate of James Chisholm, late of Sunny Brae, Farmer, deceased, Testate Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
Know all men by these presents that I James Chisholm of Sunny Brae East River in the County of Pictou, Farmer, being of sound disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last Will and Testament.
First. I give and bequeath to Margaret my present beloved wife the whole of the farm on which I now reside and which is on the East Side of the East River in Sunny Brae upon the following conditions That is if my widow remains unmarried and if she will have no heir by me after this date then the property then the property to be hers but if there is an heir by me after this date then the property to be his or hers subject to my wifes dower but if my widow think prefer to marry another man and no heir by me with her then one Half of said farm to be my widows property for her proper benefit and behoof forever. and the other half of the farm to my eldest heir.
Second, I give and bequeath all my personal property to my beloved wife of every description (viz.) Homes, Cattle Sheep and farming utensils of every kind, waggons Sleighs and all harness and every things belonging to the house.
Thirdly I ordain and appoint Donald McIntosh, Tailor, and Daniel Chisholm as Executors of this my said last Will and Testament.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal and publish and declare this to be my last Will and testament in the presence of the witnesses below this 9th. Jany. A.D. 1890.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of James Chisholm late of Sunny Brae in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
