Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou

In the name of God, Amen. I Robert Patterson of Roger's Hill in the County of Pictou, Farmer being of perfect mind and memory, do hereby make publish and declare this my Last Will and Testament, first revoking all wills and testamentary dispositions of every nature and kind whatsoever by me at any time heretofore made.

I give devise and bequeath to my beloved son Smith Patterson his heirs and executors and assigns forever all my real and estate personal property of every nature and kind whatsoever of which In may be possessed at the time of my death together with all debts judgements and ** in return due me at the time of my death.

I hereby will and direct that my said son Smith Patterson shall out of the property hereinbefore devised to him provide for his mother my widow so long as she shall live a good and suitable hone, and furnish her with all necessary food clothing fuel medical attendance and necessary medicine and other necessities suitable to her state and condition in life and shall also furnish her with a horse waggon or sleigh as the case may be harnessed and brought to her whenever required.

I do hereby constitute and appoint Joseph McLeod of Roger's Hill Farmer and m y said son Smith Patterson Executors of this my last Will and Testament.

As witness my hand and Seal to this my last Will set and affixed this 18th. day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand ninety eight.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Robert Patterson late of Roger's Hill in the County of Pictou Farmer deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the seventeenth day of September 1901 to John D McLeod and Smith Patterson
