Will of Hugh W. Oliver, deceased

Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou

This is the Last Will and Testament of me Hugh W. Oliver of Westville in the County of Pictou Carpenter.

I direct that all my just debts and funeral and Testamentary expenses to be paid by my executor hereinafter named as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.

I devise my real estate consisting of twenty acres more or less situate at Fox Brook in the said County of Pictou to my Sister Marian McKenzie wife of Hector McKenzie and Hector McKenzie her husband jointly during their lives and during the life of either the said Marian and Hector McKenzie then I devise the said twenty acres absolutely to my nephew John Edwin Oliver his heirs and assigns forever.

The residue of my personal Estate if any I direct my executor to pay the same to my said sister Marian McKenzie.

I nominate and appoint George M. Munro of said Westville Miner to be the sole executors of this my Will.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 24th. day of March AD 1909 at Westville aforesaid.

Signed published and declared by the above named Hugh W. Oliver Testator as and for his last Will and Testament, in the presence of us both present at the same time, who at his request and in his presence have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.

I John D. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Hugh W. Oliver late of Westville in the County of Pictou Carpenter deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 6th. day of July AD 1909.

Witness my hand at Pictou this 6th. day of July AD 1909.
