Estate of John Nairn late of Fisher's Grant, Master Mariner, deceased, Testate

Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

I John Nairn (Capt.) of Fisher's Grant, County of Pictou Nova Scotia, do make this my last Will and testament.

First,  I order that my lawful debts and funeral expenses be paid out of my present property.

Second, I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife Ann all my personal property remaining after my lawful debts are paid.

Third, I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife Ann, all my Real estate to be held in trust during her natural life for my two Daughters Anna Bell and Catherine Bain, and at her death to be equally divided between them share and share alike.

Fourth, I hereby nominate and appoint my son James Nairn to be my Sole Executor of this my last Will and testament.

In witness whereof I the said John Nairn have to this my last Will and testament Set my hand and Seal hereby revoking all or any former Wills or testaments made by me, this 22nd. day of June, One thousand eight hundred and Eighty three.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of John Nairn, late of Fisher's Grant  in the County of Pictou, Master Mariner, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.

Given under my hand at Pictou this 29th. day of December A.D. 1885.
