Estate of Robert Murray late of Merigomish, Esquire, deceased, Testate
Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
I Robert Murray of Merigomish, County of Pictou, having by God's Blessing lived a long life in this world, think it poper to arrange my worldly matters so that at my Death there may be no cause of Dispute what each of my family are to receive after my death,
in the first place then, I give and Bequeath to the British and Foreign Bible Society the sum of twenty Dollars.
I also give and bequeath to the foreign Missionary Society, the sum of forty Dollars,
also to the Deaf and Dumb Institution at Halifax the sum of twenty Dollars, ---- in all $80.
I also give and bequeath to each of my children alive at my death one Dollar each, except my youngest son David Francis Murray to who I give and bequeath all and singular everything Both real estate and personal property which I possess at the time of my death.
I also appoint him the said David Francis Murray my Sole executor of this my last Will and testament, all other Wills being void and null.
I order him said executor as soon as possible after my death, to lose no time in paying off those sums above mentioned to his Brothers and Sisters, with the other sums of religious and Benevolent purposes.

I neglected to add a Codicil to my will - which is as follows that is to say in order to show my gratitude to my Daughter Hannah for her kindness to me on which appears to be my deathbed, I order and bequeath to my Daughter Hannah that she shall after my death receive eighteen dollars each year in addition the sum mentioned in the Will until the whole sum amounts one hundred Dollars without Info - this my Executor must attend to.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page and half of a page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Robert Murray, late of Merigomish in the County of Pictou, Esquire, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand at Pictou this 9th. day of June A.D. 1884.
