Estate of John D. Murray late of Barney's River, Farmer, deceased, Testate

Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

Know all men by these presents that I John D. Murray of Lower barney's River in the County of Pictou make this my last Will and Testament, and dispose of my earthly goods as follows,

1St.  To my beloved wife Sarah I give and bequeath the East half of the lot of land upon which I  now reside being half of the lot Deeded by David Murray to Andrew Murray and registered in Book 43, pages 207 and 208 of the Books of registry of Deeds and lying north of the highway together with all the buildings thereon.

2nd. To my son Andrew David I give and bequeath the other or West half of the above named lot of land together with a lot of intervale land described in the aforesaid Deed dated June 1878.

3rd. To my wife Sarah I give and bequeath all my stock farming implements and personal property of whatever kind and appoint her and my sister Helen Murray guardians of my two children Ethel Blanche and Andrew David.

And I hereby appoint Kenneth Cameron of Barney's River and Allan McPhie of Avondale my executors.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of John D. Murray, late of Barney's River in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.

Given under my hand at Pictou this 15th. day of April A.D. 1894.
