Estate of Andrew Murray late of Barney's River, Farmer, deceased, Testate
Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
Know all men by these presents that I Andrew Murray Farmer, of Lower Barney's River in the County of Pictou, do make this my last Will & Testament and dispose of my earthly goods, as follows, that is to say -
1. To my beloved son John D. Murray I give and bequeath all the real Estate which I now possess together with all the farming implements and also the farm stock now on the place consisting of Horses, cattle, & sheep, with the exception of a part of which that shall hereafter be otherwise disposed of. And he the said John D. Murray shall pay all my lawful debts.
2. To my beloved daughter Ellen Murray I give and bequeath of the farm stock now on the place two milk Cows & ten sheep, also two rooms in the South end of the house with all the articles of furniture now contained in them. And the abovementioned John D. Murray shall furnish her yearly one hundred pounds of flour, one hundred pounds of Oatmeal, Also Sixty pounds of Pork, and Seventy pounds of Beef. And as soon as the debts now due are paid, he shall pay to her the sum of three hundred dollars, $300 - in cash, the same to be paid within fifteen years in yearly installments of twenty dollars.
All the remaining articles of furniture in the house or on the farm I give and bequeath to my son John David Murray.
And I do hereby appoint as my Executors, George Murray M.D. New Glasgow, and John Thompson, Ponds.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Andrew Murray, late of Lower Barney's River in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand at Pictou this 14th day of April A.D. 1884.
