Estate of Flora Murdoch, late of Pictou, Widow, deceased, Testate

Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

This is the last Will and testament of me Flora Murdoch of Pictou, in the County of Pictou, Widow.

I give devise and bequeath all real estate and all personal estate to which I shall be entitle at the time of my decease unto my niece Euphemia McKenzie, widow of the late Daniel McKenzie to have and to hold the same to her the said Euphemia McKenzie her heirs and assigns to her Sole and Separate use free from and independent of the debts and liabilities of her husband should she again marry, and with full power to dispose of the same or any part thereof by deed will or other conveyance as she may deem proper.

I order and direct my Executrix and Executor hereinafter named do out of my personal estate erect a suitable monument to the memory of my late husband and myself.

I hereby nominate and appoint the said Euphemia McKenzie and Richard Tanner of Pictou, Esquire, Executrix and executor of this my Will.

I revoke all my prior testamentary dispositions and declare this to be my last Will and Testament.

In witness whereof I have hereunder Set my hand this sixteenth day of August, One thousand eight hundred and Seventy three.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of two pages, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of (words scratched out ) Flora Murdoch late of Pictou in the County of Pictou, Widow, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.

Given under my hand at Pictou this 22nd. day of November A.D. 1879.
