Estate of David Murdoch late of Beeches Road, Farmer, deceased, Testate

Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

This is the last Will and testament of David Murdoch of Beeches Road in the County of Pictou, farmer.

After the payment of my lawful debts and funeral and testamentary expenses, I give devise and bequeath all my farm Situated at Beeches Road aforesaid, and all my personal property to my wife, Isabella to hold for her life,

At her death, or in case I survive her, I give and devise the western half of my said farm to my son John absolutely,
and the eastern half to my son James William absolutely,

And at her death, or in case I survive her, I give one cow, to my daughter, Mary Jane Henderson, one cow to my daughter Jessie Leslie,
twenty dollars to my son George Robert, and ten dollars to my grandson Rankin Leslie.

I appoint my sons James William ad John, Executors of this Will.

I revoke all former wills.

Witness my hand this 12th. Day of March A.D. 1898.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of David Murdoch, late of the Beeches Road, in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
