Will of Eliza Morrison, deceased
Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou
In the name of God, Amen.
I Eliza Morrison of Pictou in the County of Pictou, and Province of Nova Scotia, Widow, do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say,
I will and direct that all my just and lawful debts be paid and my funeral expenses defrayed by my executors hereinafter named out of the proceeds of my estate.
I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Mary Elizabeth wife of Robert F. McKenzie of Cleveland in the State of Ohio United States of America, her heirs and assigns all my real estate consisting of house and lot of land situate on the north side of Spring Street in the Town of Pictou aforesaid to have and to hold the same to her in fee simple with the appurtenances forever.
I also give to my said daughter Mary Elizabeth the sum of two thousand dollars ($2000.00) also all my household furniture of every description now in my house or that may be found therein at the time of ne decease.
I also give to my said daughter my P**
I also give to Jean daughter of the said Mary Elizabeth the sum of Five hundred Dollars. ($500.00)
I give and bequeath to Robert L. son of the said Mary Elizabeth the sum of five hundred Dollars ($500.00)
I give and bequeath to John William son the late Daniel Isaac Morrison late of Auburn in the State of New York, the sum of Three hundred dollars ($300.00)
I give and bequeath to Fanny Jane daughter of the said Daniel Isaac Morrison the sum of three hundred Dollars ($300.00)
I give and bequeath to John D. Morrison son of the late John W. Morrison late of Brooklin New York, the sum of Three hundred Dollars ($300.00)
I give and bequeath to Emily daughter of the said John W. Morrison the sum of Three hundred Dollars ($300.00)
I give and bequeath to the Trustees or Managers of the Knox Church Pictou for the benefit of the said Church the sum of one hundred dollars ($100.00)
I give, devise and bequeath to the Treasurer for the time being of the Foreign Mission fund of the Presbyterian Church of Canada (Eastern Section) in Trust for said fund the Sum of one hundred Dollars ($100.00)
I give, devise and bequeath to the Treasurer for the time being of the Home Mission fund the Sum of one hundred Dollars ($100.00) both of the above Mission bequests to be paid out of my personal property without any deduction whatever and I direct that the receipt of the said funds shall constitute and be sufficient dealings thereof.
I give, devise and bequeath to the Board of Directors of the Young Mens Christian Association in the Town of Pictou for the benefit of said Association the sum of one hundred Dollars ($100.00)
I will and direct that the sum of Forty dollars ($40.00) be invested in such manner that the interest thereof shall be devoted to renovate and keep in order my lot in the new Cemetery each and every year.
The remainder of my personal property (if any) after all the testamentary expenses be paid I give to my said daughter Mary Elizabeth.
It is my wish and desire that the foregoing bequests shall be paid to the several legatees with as little delay as possible after my decease.
Finally I hereby nominate and appoint George S. Carson Minister of Knox Church Pictou and David McKay of Mill Bank Pictou Esquire executors and my said daughter Mary Elizabeth McKenzie Executrix of this my last Will and Testament giving them full power to transact all business connected with this my last Will and Testament, and I hereby revoking all wills and Testaments heretofore made and executed.
In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my Seal this fifth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and four.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Eliza Morrison late of Pictou in the County of Pictou Widow deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 2nd. day of January AD 1906.
