Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou

I Margaret Morris of Westville in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament.

I hereby appoint my son Henry Morris to be the executor of my Will.

I hereby instruct my executor to pay all my just debts funeral and Testamentary expenses as soon as possible after my decease, and also to place a suitable family tables at the head of my grave.

I hereby bequeath to my beloved husband John Morris the use or rental during the term of his natural life of my new house on Black Diamond Street, at his decease the new house to be the property of my son Alexander Morris.

I hereby instruct my executor after my husband's decease to sell the old house on Toby Street and with the proceeds and with what monies I am leaving to pay the following legacies,

To my daughter Elizabeth Adelia Muirhead One hundred and Fifty dollars.

To my daughter Sarah Jane Acorn Fifty dollars.

To my son William Daniel Morris Seventy Five dollars.

To my son John Richard Fifty dollars.

To my son George Henry One hundred and Fifty dollars and I also remit one hundred and forty dollars which he owes me.

To Carmel Church Twenty five dollars.

Whatever balance remains after these legacies are paid I give and bequeath to my husband John Morris.

In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand this twenty eight day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seven.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Margaret Morris late of Westville  in the County of Pictou Married Woman deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 11th.  day of April 1907.
