Last Will and Testament Will of
Margaret Moody of New Glasgow
Certified Copy of Will for Registrar of Deeds
This is the last Will and Testament of Margaret Moody, Spinster, of New Glasgow, in the County of Pictou, and Province of Nova Scotia.
1st. I give and bequeath to Harold B. Torey, son of James B. Torey, New Glasgow, the sum of One hundred dollars.
2nd. I give and bequeath to Jane Hicks of Bathurst Village, New Brunswick, the sum of One hundred Dollars.
3rd. I give and bequeath to Marion Brown of Bathurst Village, New Brunswick, the sum of Fifty Dollars.
4th. I give and bequeath to Isabell Currie of Campbellton, New Brunswick the sum of One hundred Dollars.
5th. I desire the sum of Fifty Dollars be paid to the Treasurer of the United Church, New Glasgow for the benefit of the Home and Foreign Missions.
6th. I desire that the sum of One Hundred Dollars be set aside by my executors (when I shall hereafter appoint) for the benefit of Ernest L. Adams to be used only in case of accident or extreme need.
7th. I request my Executors to sell and dispose of mu house on Townsend Avenue, New Glasgow as soon as it is reasonably possible to do so, and after selling my said house, to pay the above bequests, as above written and in order set down, and also to pay all due debts now to me and any further Bills that may be incurred for my benefit. The residue of my estate of whatever nature, I hereby leave and bequeath to Anna B. Torey, wife of James B. Torey, New Glasgow, Nova Scotia.
8th. I hereby appoint James B. Torey, Merchant of said New Glasgow, executor and Executrix of this my last Will and Testament, with the desire that he fulfil my wishes as above set forth.

Signed and Published by the said Testator, Margaret Moody, as and for her last Will and Testament, in the presence of us both being present at the same time, who in her presence and in the presence of each other at her request have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.

I, John D. McLeod Registrar, Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Margaret Moody late of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou Spinster deceased, which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the Twenty-third day of October A.D. 1913.
