Will of James Maxwell, deceased

Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou

This is the last Will and Testament of me James Maxwell formerly of Westville in the County of Pictou Mine Manager ad at present at Sydney in the County of Cape Breton.

I revoke all former wills or other Testamentary dispositions by me at any time heretofore made and declare this only to be and contain my last Will and testament.

I direct all my just debts and funeral and Testamentary expenses to be paid and satisfied by my Executrix hereinafter named as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.

I bequeath to my son James Maxwell the Sum of one thousand Dollars.

I devise and bequeath all the residue of my estate and effects both real and personal wheresoever situate including the Policy of insurance on my life unto my wife Ann Maxwell absolutely.

I nominate and appoint my said wife Ann Maxwell to be executrix of this my Will.

In witness whereof I have set my hand this Sixteenth day of October AD 1906.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of James Maxwell late of New Waterford in the County of Cape Breton Mine Manager deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 23rd. day of August AD 1909.
