Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou

This is the last will and testament of me John Thomas Matheson of Scotsburn Station in the County of Pictou, Gentleman.

I devise and bequeath my meadow lot or property situate and being in the Big Meadow in Scotsburn, and also a waggon and sleigh to son-in-law Alfred Creighton.

I also devise and bequeath all my real and personal property situate at Scotsburn Station, consisting of a lot of land with a house and other buildings and all the furniture and movables to my daughter Mrs. Margaret Creighton, wife of Alfred Creighton of Scotsburn absolutely.

I devise and bequeath all my money proceeds of promissory notes, mortgages etc., to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease after all my lawful debts and necessary expenses are paid, to my nephew and niece, children of the said Alfred and Margaret Creighton to be paid share and share alike when they become of lawful age.

And I appoint John W. McKay of Scotsburn and the said Alfred Creighton executors of this my Will, hereby revoking all former testamentary writings.

In Witness Whereof I the said John Thomas Matheson the testator, have to this my last will and testament set my hand and Seal this ninth day of January A.D., 1910.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of John Thomas Matheson late of Pictou in the County of Pictou Gentleman, deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 14th. day of March AD 1910.
