Estate of Daniel William Matheson late of West River, Farmer, deceased, Testate

Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

In the name of God, Amen, I Daniel W. Matheson  of West River in the County of Pictou ,Farmer,  being of sound mind and in full possession of my faculties, do on this second day of January in the year of our Lord ONe thousand eight hundred and eighty three, hereby make this my last Will and testament as follows,

I bequeath to my brother Neil Matheson that piece and parcel of land on the west side of the road leading via Neil Matheson's and Alexander McDonald's from West River to New Gairloch the said lot being adjoining the land at present in possession of Daniel Fraser and said Neil Matheson

And all the remainder of my property that I die possessed of I bequeath to my two Sisters Isabella Matheson and Georgina Matheson, consisting of all monies, Lands, Stock, Implements, Etc. held by me to be held by them conjointly after paying off all just claims against me and funeral expenses

And I further will that my mother be maintained and supported where at present residing by these my said Sisters aforesaid Isabella and Georgina Matheson from off the property hereby bequeathed to.

And I appoint Robert McBeath and John Matheson of New Lairg my Sole Executors.
