Estate of Peter Campbell, late of Wentworth's Grant, Farmer, deceased, Testate

Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

This is the last Will and testament Peter Campbell of Wentworth's Grant in the County of Pictou, made this 25th. day of August in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety three.

First. I give order and bequeath into my son John R. Campbell and his heirs forever the farm on which I now reside Lying and being on Wentworth Grant in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia, together with a lot of wood land lying and being at Barney's River in the County and Province aforesaid with all the buildings, with all the stock and farming instruments that may be on the place at the time of my decease. Subject however to the conditions hereafter mentioned.

Second, That is to say that he my said son John R. Campbell if desired shall provide a comfortable dwelling house for my wife Jane Campbell and such of my family as choose to make their home with her during their and her lifetime, and provide a suitable living such as becometh their station in life.

Third. I appoint the said John R. Campbell my son and my wife Jane Campbell my Executors.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Peter Campbell late of Wentworth's Grant in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
