Estate of Thomas Manning late of French River, Farmer, deceased, Testate
Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
By the Grace of God, Amen.
I Thomas Manning of French River , in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia, Farmer, realizing the uncertainty of life, and being of feeble health, bout of sound mind memory and judgement do make and declare this my last Will and testament in manner and form following to wit.
First, My will is that all my just debts funeral and expenses shall by my executor hereinafter named be paid out of my estate as soon after my decease as shall by him be found convenient.
Second, I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved Brother Ambrose Manning all my personal estate. stock, goods and chattels that remain after my just debts funeral and expenses be paid as set forth in the first clause.
Third, I give devise and bequeath unto the beloved William Charles Manning (son of Ambrose Manning afore mentioned), all my land and real Estate, improvements and inheritances, that I now own or hereafter may own or possess. To the said William Charles Manning his heirs and assigns forever.
I hereby appoint Ambrose Manning of French River, executor of this my Will.
In witness whereof I have Signed and Sealed and published and declared this instrument as my last Will at French River on the twenty first day of September in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and eighty seven.

The said Thomas Manning at said French River on said twenty first day of September in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and eighty seven Signed and Sealed this instrument and published and declared the same as for his last Will, And we at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other and have hereunto written our names as subscribing witnesses.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page and a quarter pages, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Thomas Manning, late of French River in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand at Pictou, this 14th. day of May A.D. 1894.
