Estate of Ronald McVicar late of Merigomish, Farmer, deceased, Testate

Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

I Ronald McVicar of West Merigomish Pictou Co. Province of Nova Scotia, do make and declare this my last Will and testament.
 
1st. I will and bequeath to my beloved wife , Ann, during her natural life, ne room of the house, leading off the dining room and another room n the right side of the hall coming in, for her exclusive use, also a respectable maintenance from my estate, real and personal immoveable and immoveable property, as will be suitable for her age and condition, with the full use of the house as before.

2nd.  I will and bequeath to my beloved daughter Janet Catherine, the exclusive use of one room, situated in the house, upstairs, the exclusive right side and use of one Cow, and a respectable maintenance, as will be suited for her, that is to say, the above to be provided for her, the said Janet Catherine while unmarried and living in the family, with the full use of the house as before.

3rd. I will and bequeath to my beloved son Allan, to his heirs and assigns ass my estate real and personal, moveable and immoveable and all appurtenances on estate, except all that provided for in above Sec. 1St. and 2nd. 

4th.  In my last Will and testament, appoint Executors of the same Will and testament my beloved son Angus John, and Duncan Chisholm of New Glasgow.

To the above last Will and testament I Set my hand Seal in the presence of the undersigned witnesses, and their witness each other.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Ronald McVicar, late of West Merigomish in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.

Given under my hand at Pictou this 10th day of Novr. A.D. 1890.
