(Handwritten) Estate of John McQuarrie late of River John, Ship Carpenter, deceased, Testate Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds This is the last Will and Testament of me John McQuarrie, of River John, in the County of Pictou, Ship Carpenter. 1st. I give devise and bequeath unto my son Charles W. McQuarrie the western part of the lot of land whereon I now reside Situate in River John in the County of Pictou, the same to measure ten rods or the whole breadth of the lot whereon I now reside at the rear or Western boundary thereof and Seven and a half rods in width by a line running parallel to the said rea or Western boundary across the said lot whereon I now reside, And Also a road or right f way in common with my heirs and assigns from the same to the Highway. I also give devise and bequeath unto him my said son Charles W. McQuarrie a certain water lot in front of the said lot whereon I now reside, To Have and To Hold the same unto him the said Charles W. McQuarrie his heirs and assigns forever. 2nd. I give devise and bequeath unto my son Eddie T. McQuarrie the sum of five dollars. 3rd. I give devise and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Frances McQuarrie the sum of five dollars. 4th. I give devise and bequeath unto my daughter Rachel T. Burns, wife of A.C. Burns the sum of five dollars. 5th. I give devise and bequeath unto my daughter Georgina McQuarrie the sum of five dollars. 6th. I give devise and bequeath unto my wife Anna Bell McQuarrie and my daughter Christina E. McQuarrie, all the residue and remainder of my real and personal property of whatever name and nature and wheresoever fond belonging to me, after my decease and after the payment of the foregoing bequests, my just debts, funeral expenses and the expenses of executing this my last Will and Testament. To Have and To Hold the same unto them the said Anna Bell McQuarrie, and Christina E. McQuarrie their Heirs and assigns forever. And Lastly, I hereby nominate constitute and appoint Robert Sutherland of North Shore of Cape John, in County of Pictou, farmer, and my said wife Anna Bell McQuarrie Executor and Executrix of this my last Will and testament, hereby revoking disannulling and disallowing all former Testamentary writings.
