Will of Allan McQuarrie, deceased

Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou

I Allan McQuarrie of Westville in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia, Labourer, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament.

I hereby appoint my friend George McDonald of this Town to be executors of my last Will.

I hereby direct my said executors to pay all my just debts funeral and Testamentary expenses as soon as possible after my decease.

I hereby bequeath to my sons Archie McQuarrie, Lauchlin McQuarrie, and Malcolm McQuarrie Five dollars each and to my daughters Jessie McLeod, Annabel Quigly and Flora Hayman one dollar each.

I hereby devise and bequeath to my unfortunate blind son John McQuarrie all my real estate and all the rest and residue of my personal property including monies, notes of hand and household furniture absolutely.

In witness whereof I have hereuto set my hand and Seal this second day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and one.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Allan McQuarrie late of Westville in the County of Pictou Labourer deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 22nd. day of April AD 1902.
