Will of Peter McPhie, deceased
Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou
This is the last Will and Testament of Peter McPhie of Upper Hopewell, in the County of Pictou, Farmer.
1. I give and devise to my son Rev. John P. McPhie all real estate whatsoever and wheresoever.
2. I give and bequeath to Rev. D. A. McPhie, my son One Hundred Dollars.
3. I give and bequeath to Mary Davis my daughter, wife of G.M. Davis, One Hundred Dollars.
4. I give and bequeath to my daughter Maude McGillivery, One Hundred Dollars.
5. I give and bequeath to Elmore ad Eva McPhie, my grandchildren the children of my son Rev. D.A. McPhie, the sum of Twenty-Five Dollars each.
6. I give and bequeath to Mary I. McPhie daughter of my son Rev. John P. McPhie, the sum of twenty-five Dollars.
7. I give and bequeath to the Foreign Mission Board of the Presbyterian Church of Canada, the sum of One Hundred Dollars.
8. All of the above bequests are to be paid out of the moneys belonging to me which have been handed over by me to my daughter, Maude McGillivery and I will and direct that all residue of my personal property not hereinbefore specially devised shall be equally divided among my children share and share like.
9. I appoint Duncan B. Cruikshanks of Sunny Brae and John P. McPhie executors of this my Will.
10. I hereby revoke all former and other wills by me made.
Signed and dated by the said testator at Upper Hopewell in the County of Pictou this 3rd. day of July A.D. 1913.
