Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou
This is the Last Will and Testament of me Alexander McPhail of Pictou in the County of Pictou Postmaster.
I give devise and bequeath unto my son Edward McPhail after my decease and the decease of my wife Jane A. McPhail the lot of land and house thereon in which I now dwell with my family To Hold the same unto him my said son Edward McPhail his heirs executors administrators and assigns for his own absolute use and benefit., for and in consideration of his having remained with me and havin faithfully served and assisted me in my business for many years.
And I appoint my said son the executors of this my last Will.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this twelfth day of August one thousand eight hundred and seventy four.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Alexander McPhail late of Pictou in the County of Pictou Postmaster deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 25th. day of March 1908.
