Will of Catherine McNeil, deceased

Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou

I Catherine McNeil Widow of late Andrew McNeil Miner of Westville in the County of Pictou, and Province of Nova Scotia, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking any will or Testament heretofore by me at any time made.

I hereby nominate and appoint my son Andrew McNeil to be the executor of this my  Will.

I hereby instruct my said executor to pay all my just debts and funeral and Testamentary expenses as soon as possible after my decease.

I hereby give and bequeath to my son Duncan McNeil the house and lot on which I now reside together with all the beds and bedding and household furniture which may be mine at the time of my decease.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand on this the second day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Signed pronounced and declared by the aforesaid Catherine McNeil as and for her last Will and Testament in our presence, who at her request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses to the due execution hereof.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Catherine McNeil late of Westville in the County of Pictou Widow deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 13th. day of March AD 1913.
