Estate of John McLeod late of Dufferin Road, Farmer, deceased, Testate

Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

I John McLeod of Dufferin Road in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia, farmer, being of sound and disposing mind and memory hereby do make my last Will and testament in the manner following,

I will bequeath and devise to my son John Daniel McLeod all my property of all kinds whatsoever on condition that he support his mother Isabella my wife during her natural life and m y daughter Janet Priscilla until she reaches the age of twenty one years or until she marries.

And I nominate and appoint my brother Daniel McLeod of Dufferin Road aforesaid and Angus Condon of Hardwood Hill to be the Executor of this my last Will and testament.

In token whereof I have hereunto my Signature and Seal affixed this sixth day of July one thousand eight hundred and ninety five, in the presence of the Subscribing witnesses.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of part of a page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of John McLeod, late of Dufferin Road in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.

Given under my hand at Pictou this 6th. day of February A.D. 1897.
