Will of Isabella McLeod, deceased

Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou

This is the last Will and Testament of Isabella McLeod of Westville in the County of Pictou, and Province of Nova Scotia Widow.

1. My will is that first my just debts and funeral expenses be paid by my executors hereinafter appointed and the residue and remainder of my real and personal property which shall not be required for such purposes I give devise and dispose thereof as follows,

2. I give and devise to my adored daughter Mary Ann McPherson my house and lot in Westville in which I at present reside also Ten hundred dollars.

3. I give and devise to my daughter Libbie McLean the Sum of seven hundred and fifteen dollars.

4. I give and devise to my daughter Christy Margaret Ross ten hundred and fifty Dollars.

5. I give and devise to my daughter Janet Clark eleven hundred Dollars.

6. I give and devise to my daughter Lottie B. McLeod Two hundred Dollars the same being now being deposited in the Franklin Savings Bank in the City of Boston.

7. I give and devise to my son John W. McLeod Three hundred Dollars.

8. I give and devise to my son George A. McLeod Three hundred dollars.

9. I give and devise to my son Neil Isaac McLeod Three hundred dollars.

10. I give and devise to my son Robert McLeod Three hundred Dollars.

11. I give and devise to my grandson John Leslie McLeod one hundred Dollars.

12. I give and devise to Isabella Edna McLeod my granddaughter one hundred Dollars.

13. I give and devise to my granddaughter Hazel B. McDonald Two hundred Dollars.

14. I give and devise to my grandson John J. McLean one hundred Dollars.

15. I give and devise to my granddaughter Isabella Maud Ross one hundred Dollars.

16. I give and devise to St. Philips Church Westville one hundred dollars.

17. I give and devise to Gairloch Church Gairloch one hundred Dollars.

18. I give and devise to the Presbyterian Church of Canada Eastern Section for Foreign Missions Two hundred Dollars.

I hereby nominate and appoint my brother Wallace Munro and John F. Oliver of Westville Executors of this my last Will and Testament.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF I the Testatrix have hereunto set my hand this the third day of March  in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and two.

Codicil

After this provision of the foregoing will and Testament and executors if there should remain any property not disposed of I will and bequeath too each of my sons Robert, John Wm., George A. and Neil Isaac one hundred Dollars each another hundred (if any) to my daughter Sarah.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Isabella McLeod late of Westville in the County of Pictou Widow deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 26th. day of June AD 1902.
