Estate of Donald McLeod late of Mount Ephraim, Farmer, deceased, Testate
Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
In the name of God, Amen.
I Donald McLeod of Mount Ephraim, in the County of Pictou, Farmer, being at present in good health and sound mind and memory thanks be given to God and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament.
First of all, I give and recommend my Soul into the hand of Almighty God who gave it and my body to the earth to be buried in a decent Christian manner, at the discretion of my executors hereinafter named assured that at the general Resurrection, I shall receive the same again, by the Almighty power of God.
And as regards worldly estate as it has pleased God to give me, I give devise in the following manner.
Firstly. I order that all my just debts and funeral expenses to be fully paid, and
Secondly, I give and bequeath to my nephew Robert McLeod of Mount Ephraim, Farmer, Fifty seven acres of land on the northwest side of my lot of land being one half of my farm containing 114 acres more or less.
And thirdly, I give and bequeath to my nephew Hugh McLeod of Mount Ephraim, Farmer, the remaining fifty seven acres of my farm on Mount Ephraim,
And Fourthly, I appoint and ordain Robert McLeod and Hugh McLeod my Nephews o Mount Ephraim, Farmers, to be my executors of this my last Will and Testament, revoking al former Wills ratifying and confirming this and no other.
In witness thereof I have hereunto subscribed my hand and Seal, this seventeenth day 1886.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Donald McLeod, late of Mount Ephraim, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand at Pictou this second day of January A.D. 1890.
