Will of Alex. McLeod, deceased
Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou
I Alexander McLeod of Watervale in the County of Pictou, and Province of Nova Scotia, Farmer, being of sound mind and memory do make publish and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.
And as to my worldly estate and al the property real personal or mixed of which I ill die seized and possessed or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease I devise bequeath and dispose thereof in the manner following, to wit –
My will is that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall by my executors hereinafter named be paid out of my estate as soon after my decease as shall by them be found convenient.
I give devise and bequeath to my wife Margaret McLeod all my real and personal property to have and to hold the same to her and her executors, administrators and assigns forever, providing she maintains a home for the children until they are of age, but if she married again and fails to provide a home for the children I will it to go to my son Colin McLeod on condition that he maintain a home for the children until they are of age.
I do nominate and appoint my wife Margaret McLeod and John W. Tupper to be the executors of this my last Will and Testament.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I the said Alexander McLeod have to this my last Will and Testament consisting of two sheets of paper subscribed my name and affixed my Seal this twenty sixth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and ten.

Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Alexander McLeod as his last Will and Testament, in the presence of us who at his request, and in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

I John D. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Alexander McLeod late of Watervale in the County of Pictou Farmer deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 21st. day of November AD 1911.
Witness my hand at Pictou this 21st. day of November AD 1911.
