Estate of John MacLean late of River John, Farmer, deceased, Testate
Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
This is the last Will and testament of John MacLean, Elder, of Louisville, River John, in the County of Pictou, Farmer.
1st. I give devise and bequeath unto my Daughter Annie C. MacLean the sum o One Hundred Dollars provided she remains unmarried, otherwise to be given to my son Daniel K. MacLean or his heirs, unless she gets married to a man who is worth one thousand dollars.
2nd. I give devise and bequeath unto my son Kenneth R. MacLean the sum of four Hundred Dollars or unto his heirs.
3rd. I give devise and bequeath unto my wife Margaret J, MacLean whatever or whatsoever she may need during her life.
4th. I give devise and bequeath unto my son Daniel K. MacLean all my effects both Real and personal, whatever, whatsoever, and wheresoever, and of what nature and quality soever, belonging to me at my decease, excepting the above three provisions.
5th. And lastly I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my son Kenneth R. MacLean and John W. McLeod Merchant, Denmark, joint executors of this my last Will and testament, and do hereby revoke all former wills & testamentary writings by me in any wise made.
In witness whereof I have hereunto my hand and Seal Subscribed and Set this twelfth day of October A.D. 1894.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of John MacLean, late of River John in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand at Pictou this 19th. day of December A.D. 1894.
