Will of Daniel K. McLean, deceased
Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou
I Daniel K. McLean of Pictou in the County of Pictou Mason do declare this my Last Will and Testament and I do hereby revoke all other Testamentary writings.
I direct that all my just debts and funeral and Testamentary expenses be paid and satisfied by my executors hereinafter named as soon as conveniently may be after me decease.
I bequeath to my son Daniel Hugh McLean the sum of one hundred Dollars.
I bequeath to my daughter Jessie Charlotte McLean the sum of one hundred Dollars.
I bequeath to my daughter Priscilla McLean the sum of one hundred Dollars.
I bequeath to my daughter Sarah Jane Brennan wife of John A. Brennan the sum of one hundred Dollars.
I release and forgive to my sons William McLean and James McLean or to them or either of their representatives if they or either of them should die in my lifetime every sum of money with the interest thereon which may be owing from them or wither of them to me at the time of my decease, and I direct that any note or notes bond or bonds or other obligations or securities for the same shall be released or given up to the said William McLean and James McLean respectively or to them or either of their representatives.
I bequeath all the residue of my estate and effects both real and personal to my son Daniel Hugh McLean and my daughters Jessie Charlotte McLean and Priscilla McLean to be divided equally among the three of them share and share alike.
I nominate and appoint my son Daniel Hugh McLean & George R. Chisholm of Pictou Bank Manager to be the executors of this my last Will and Testament.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I the said Daniel K. McLean the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament contained in this and the preceding sheet of paper Set my hand and Seal this first day of June AD 1903.

I John D. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Daniel K. McLean late of Pictou in the County of Pictou Mason deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 13th. day of February AD 1905.
