Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou

Know all men by these present that I James McLaren of French River in the County of Pictou, and Province of Nova Scotia, Farmer, being of sound mind do hereby make publish and declare this my Last Will and Testament.

First – I do hereby constitute and appoint my son Neil Fraser McLaren of French River and my son in law Duncan Peter McDonald of Little Harbor in County and province aforesaid to be joint executors of this my last Will and Testament.

In the event of my wife Catherine Jane McLaren surviving me I bequeath and devise all my estate real and personal to her use and benefit during the term of her natural life the which of my estate real and personal shall afterwards become the property of my son Neil Fraser McLaren.

Given under my hand and Seal this fourteenth day of August in the Year one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of James McLaren late of French River in the County of Pictou Farmer deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the first day of March AD 1913.
