Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou

I, William Urquhart of the Village of Ferrona in the County of Pictou, Merchant, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament.

I hereby appoint my son John D. Urquhart and my wife Christy Urquhart to be the executors of my Will. I hereby direct my said executors to pay all my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses as soon as possible after my decease.

I give, devise and bequeath all my real estate wheresoever situate unto my son John D. Urquhart his heirs and assigns forever. Providing always that is to say: that the said John D. Urquhart shall, will and in good and substantial way and in a manner suited to her station in life, support and maintain my wife Christy Urquhart, his mother, during her lifetime with home, and shall during such time provide suitable clothing, and medical attendance, nursing and drugs, and shall in all things supply her comforts, and wants as freely as they are now supplied. I devise and bequeath to my son David Urquhart one hundred dollars cash, payable out of funds in hand. I give and bequeath to my daughter Jamima M. Codman one hundred dollars payable out of funds in hand. All the residue of my estate personal, of every kind and description and wherever situated, I give, devise and bequeath unto my son John D. Urquhart his heirs and assigns forever.

In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand this ninth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and ten.

Signed, sealed, published and declared by the said William Urquhart Testator as and for his last Will and Testament, in the presence of us, present, at the same time, who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses thereof.

I, John D. McLeod, Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of William Urquhart late of the Village of Ferrona in the County of Pictou, Merchant, deceased, which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 31st.  day of May A.D., 1910.
