Estate of William Urquhart late of Middle River, Yeoman, deceased, Testate
Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
In the name of God, Amen.
I William Urquhart of Middle River in the County of Pictou Yeoman, being of good health of body and of sound and disposing mind and memory and be desirous to settle my worldly affairs whilst I have strength and capacity so to do, do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament and principally and first of all I give and commit my Soul into the hands of my Creator who gave it and my body to the earth to be buried in a decent Christina burial at the discretion of my Executors hereinafter to be named and as to see such worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me with I dispose of the same as follows viz.
First, I will and direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses and all charges touching the proving or otherwise concerning this my will be paid by my executor out of my estate.
Secondly, I will and direct the sum of Two Hundred Dollars to be paid to my Daughter Georgina when she is Twenty one years old.
Thirdly, I will and direct the sum of Two Hundred Dollars to be paid to my son David Alexander when she is Twenty one years old.
Fourthly, I will and direct the sum of One Hundred Dollars to be paid to Nathaniel Urquhart at the discretion of my hereinafter named Executors.
Fifthly, I will, devise and bequeath all the rest ad residue of my personal property Goods, chattels, and Household Furniture, monies, Notes of Hand ie as also all my messuages, lands tenements and hereditaments whatsoever may be left after my just debts funeral expenses ie are paid as before mentioned to my wife Sarah w. Urquhart to have and to hold the same to her and heirs forever.
Lastly, I hereby nominate and appoint Alexander Fraser. Rocklin, Middle River. Anthony Fraser of Westville and my wife Sarah W. Urquhart Executors and Executrix of this my last Will and Testament.
In witness whereof I hereby hereunto my hand and Seal Subscribed and Set at Westville this Eighteenth day of November in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy Nine.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of two pages, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of William Urquhart late of Middle River, in the County of Pictou, Yeoman, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand at Pictou this 6th. day of October A.D. 1880.
